Hideaway Point is a retreat property dedicated to helping guests create space for what truly matters. We provide a supportive foundation for individuals, businesses, and non-profits to build experiences tailored to the unique needs of their groups. We’re seeking a part-time bookkeeper who shares our values and can bring meticulous attention to detail and integrity to our financial management.

DESCRIPTION

As the Bookkeeper for Hideaway Point, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our mission by maintaining accurate and organized financial records. Working approximately 3-4 hours per month, you will ensure our financial practices align with our values and contribute to a sustainable future for Hideaway Point. Key Responsibilities  

  • Financial Records and Reconciliation – Record monthly financial transactions with accuracy, keeping ledgers and financial records organized and up-to-date.

  • Guest Booking Support – Assist with maintaining financial records related to property bookings and reservations (through airbnb, vrbo and lodgify), enabling smooth operations for a seamless guest experience.

  • Communication with Contracted Employees – Provide clear, consistent communication with our contracted employees to ensure all financial interactions, payments, and relevant updates are handled smoothly and professionally.

  • Tax Compliance and Coordination – Work with our accountant as needed to ensure all records are compliant and ready for annual filings.

Qualifications

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, ideally in the vacation rental or hospitality industry. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and familiarity with Microsoft Excel. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Alignment with Hideaway Point’s values and our our missional Christian worldview.

Compensation
